WELCOME TO

STREET FRIENDS WA

HOMELESS FOUNDATION LTD

Street Friends WA a not for profit organisation run completely by volunteers.

We receive NO government assistance and rely completely on the generosity of the community to survive.

Every Thursday evening between 5pm & 6pm in Moore St. Perth we distribute sleeping bags, blankets, warm clothing, hygiene products and other warm provisions to the homeless from our storage facility.

We also volunteer alongside the Sikh Association helping them distribute hot food and bread every Thursday from 6pm to 8pm in Moore St.

We have also built strong alliances with other organisations around Perth, by supplying clothes to homeless people in other suburbs.

OUR MISSION

Committed to making life more comfortable for W.A.’s homeless.

OUR VISION

Our vision is a future where no one has to sleep on the streets of Western Australia.

OUR VALUES

UNDERWEAR & SOCKS

Living on the street, many homeless people rarely take their shoes off. They walk often and don’t always have laundry facilities at close reach. That’s why clean socks are a reliable item as a donation. Any care kit that you prepare or donate should include them. Underwear and socks have to be new. NO second hand underwear and socks accepted.

PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS

Hygiene is one of the major barriers for homeless people’s ability to connect with others, including potential employers. Poor hygiene is also a significant cause of health problems in people who experience homelessness. We will always be grateful for donations of shampoo, soap, shaving supplies, tampons, and feminine pads. Travel-size products allow individuals to carry these supplies in their own.
